Social and Pastoral Life

Many liturgical activities as well as ecumenical and denominational celebrations are organized during the year for the benefit of the entire University community, including students, faculty and staff.
Pastoral services also works closely with the Student Association of the University (SPUSA) to organize cultural and social activities that help enhance student life in the University.

Spiritual Guidance and Counselling

Help is available to students who are experiencing difficulties or who wish to discern their spiritual life. We offer the possibility to participate in a yearly retreat or in pastoral or spiritual accompaniment provided to stimulate personal and spiritual growth. The major focus of these encounters is to improve self-awareness in one’s relationship with God.

Outreach and social justice

The University is involved in outreach to other Christian communities in the Ottawa area. Various opportunities for pastoral experience are provided in order to develop the gospel values of justice and peace. For instance, we organize a 25-hour fast to raise funds for Development and Peace during the Lenten season, in partnership with other universities and colleges in the area.
