Program for North American Mobility in Higher Education

What is this program?

The Program aims to improve and increase :

•  North American student mobility;
• Institutional partnerships among post-secondary schools in Canada, the United States and Mexico; and
• A trilateral exchange of knowledge and expertise in higher education and training.

Where we can study with this program?
Saint Paul University is recipient and partner in this program with six American and Mexican universities:

• Howard University, Washington D.C.
• University of Texas, El Paso
• Hope College, Michigan
• Universidad Autonoma de Querétaro
• Universidad Anahuac
• Universidad popular Autonoma del Estado de Puebla

For Saint Paul University’s students, it is possible to choose one of the American Universities or one of the Universities in Mexico as listed above.

Who can apply?
Students admitted and registered in one of Saint Paul University’s academic programs that are either Canadian citizen, landed immigrant or granted refugee in Canada.

When could we start?
Fall 2010 or Winter 2010

Can I get financial support for this program?
Saint Paul University will provide financial support to the students that will be selected for this exchange program.

Canada-European Union Exchange: Conflict Analysis and Resolution

In order to extend its reach abroad, Saint Paul University signed an agreement with three European universities and 3 students will be selected to study abroad for one semester.  

What is the purpose of this agreement?

The aim is to help students to learn, analyze and resolve a conflict in another cultural environment.

Who are the partner universities?

• University of Ulster, UK
  
• Irish School of Ecumenics, Trinity College, Ireland
  
• University of Primorska, Slovenia

Who are eligible for this program?

• Have completed one year Master's study of conflict
• Have a  good academic record
• Be a Canadian citizen, landed immigrant or refugee
• Have 30 years or less at the time apply

Is there a financial aid?

Participants are eligible for financial assistance from Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, to meet the costs of travel and life in general in Europe.
