	Summer Institute in Pastoral Liturgy (SIPL) – in English only Summer Institute in Religious Education (SIRE) – in English only July 5 to 15 Saint Paul University Summer Institute in Pastoral Liturgy (SIPL) Responding to Vatican II and the Church’s call for ongoing liturgical renewal, the Faculty of Theology at Saint Paul University, in close cooperation with the National Office for Liturgy of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, established the Summer Institute in Pastoral Liturgy. Summer Institute in Religious Education (SIRE) The Summer Institute in Religious Education has been established by the Faculty of Theology at Saint Paul University, Ottawa, to meet the growing need for formation programs in religious education and catechesis. It is designed in response to the Church’s invitation in the Genereal Directory for Catechesis for systematic catechetical formation to be offered on the national level by trained specialists.
