For the "Person Day", the Centre for Women and Christians cordially invites you to the Glasmacher Lecture by the theologian Annette Esser “Women Without Borders: Feminist Spiritualities in Context” (in English only).
The lecture will be on Monday, October 19th, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. in the amphitheatre (1124) of Saint-Paul University. A reception will follow.
Dr. Annette Esser is founder of the Scivias-Institute, a project based in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, to promote the integration of spirituality and art through both reflective and therapeutic methods, in the spirit of Hildegard of Bingen. Dr. Esser studied at the universities of Cologne and Muenster. She studied psychotherapy and religion at Union Theological Seminary (New York), and received her Ph.D. from the Radboud University of Nijmegen (the Netherlands) with a dissertation on feminist spirituality. She has taught at the Universities of Muenster and Aachen, as well as various institutes of higher education in Cologne and Bad Kreuznach.
